A little bit about me and my passion for travel....

Travel Agents Do It Better

I took my first real big trip abroad when I studied in Europe in law school in 1994. I put a backpack on my back and traveled before my classes started in Ireland. I spent time in London, Greece, Italy, Austria, Germany, France, Amsterdam, Switzerland, Ireland and the Czech. Republic that summer. It took 20 years before I was able to go back to Europe. But my passion for travel was re ignited in 2014 with my fabulous trip to Italy. I decided then that I loved to plan and research vacations. The travel bug hit me hard! Slowly I started to do all my own research. An idea came to me as I planned my daughters senior trip to Greece this spring. It crystallized as I spent some time in Mexico with my family in June. I wanted to become a travel agent. Spring forward to now.
On a Whim Travel, LLC is a reality!!!

I am a certified travel specialist for South Africa, Ireland and Mexico. I have also completed the CIE Shamrock Certification Course for Ireland. I have training with specific travel partners including Gilt-edge tours in Africa, Abercrombie & Kent, Monograms through the Globus Brands, Iberostar all inclusive resorts, Accor hotels, AMResorts, G Adventures, Wilderness Scotland, Apple Leisure Group, Hertz and Europe Express. I continue to expand my knowledge base so I can plan the best adventure for you! I am now an APEX partner with American Express so I can offer some amazing options through that program.
